Just for fun...
The hardest part about taking pictures for me is trying to think of a cute pose... Abby got this balloon from a birthday party last week and this morning I had an idea... I realized later when I put them on the computer my ISO was set way too high so they turned out kind of grainy. grrr. Oh well! I liked the way these ones turned out, so here they are!

Lesson of the day: Jack hates to share!
We took the kids out for an 'adventure'. Yeah, Abby whined so much when I said lets go for a walk, so we had to think of a way to make it fun. So we called it an adventure and set out to see what we could find. I was thrilled because I found this really cool place to take some pictures. The kids weren't dressed the way I would have if I had known we would be snapping portraits, but now I know where this place is I am sure we will be back!
Abby wasn't really in the mood to take pictures and lately Jack has this sixth sense about the camera, if he knows I have it out he wont look at me! Little stinker!!! But I happened to get ONE of him looking.
I didn't like the way the color of her shirt turned out, but I LOVED the backdrop!
There was some kind of a doggy door he was climbing through
Yeah, she was pretty mad about the camera

Abby kept asking Ben "are you trying to skip ahead of me??" So she would run even faster
Lesson today? Dont mess with Jack and his Icee! He was so funny because we bought 2 to share, but he wouldn't have any of that! He threw a tantrum every time Ben took it, cried a little less when Abby had it, and waited patiently when I tried some. His favorite was the red one, we gave him the blue one and he was getting ready to throw it... He is definitely in a mommy stage right now... He wants nothing to do with Ben most of the time. Hopefully he
will grow out of this! And don't worry, we dont usually give our kids this much sugar!

It's beginning to look a lot like... Spring!
Spring is finally here!!! I am so excited to watch my garden grow. Last year my mother-in-law and I transformed my backyard from dirt into my little slice of heaven on earth. We had put in grass the year before so we put gravel, set aside space for a vegetable garden, and also a flower garden. I LOVE roses, and wanted to have tons of them- and I do! This year will be nice because I planted a ton last year, and a lot of them will come back year after year, so I have a good background until the warmer weather comes. I love to sit on my swing, watching the kids run around and get a whiff of my flowers as the breeze blows by... pure bliss!

Lip smackin goodness
Abby had to get her kindergarten shots so we made a deal that if she was brave we would have a girls day. Long story short, I left the doctor with two screaming kids, Abby from the shots, and Jack because she was. Since she did good except for the shots, we went ahead with our plans. But lets be honest, I would have done it anyways (I wanted some lip balm for me!!)

Mo Daddy!
Ben was munching on a bag of Flaming hot Cheetos and Jack put out his hand. Of course Ben wont refuse, especially when he was expecting a funny reaction from Jack... He takes his first bite, coughs and spits it out, then puts out his hand for more. This cycle happened for about ten minutes (eventually he started swallowing them) . Ben was finished and was attempting to put the bag away when Jack started yelling "Mo daddy! Mo!" So, we gave him the bag and a tall glass of water, and kept laughing!

I have been taking a photography class at the community center, and yesterday we went to Ancestor Square to practice what we have learned. Abby was such a diva, as usual, but she got bored about halfway into it. Being the mean mom I am, I made her finish and her face in the last few were not so cute... so here are a few of my favorites (towards the begining of the shoot, of course!;)

Here I am!
I am attempting to join the blogging world... Still new at this and a little confused... I don't care if nobody reads this because I am using it as a journal of sorts. So we will see where this takes me!
