Spring is finally here!!! I am so excited to watch my garden grow. Last year my mother-in-law and I transformed my backyard from dirt into my little slice of heaven on earth. We had put in grass the year before so we put gravel, set aside space for a vegetable garden, and also a flower garden. I LOVE roses, and wanted to have tons of them- and I do! This year will be nice because I planted a ton last year, and a lot of them will come back year after year, so I have a good background until the warmer weather comes. I love to sit on my swing, watching the kids run around and get a whiff of my flowers as the breeze blows by... pure bliss!
When we first moved in we had a dog, and Ben bought me a lovely swing for Mother's Day, it took about two days before the dog had it ripped to shreds... I finally got around to recovering it. I am not 100% happy with the way it turned out... but hey, it is sooo much better than before!
