The kids have been loving cars lately, so I got this crazy idea in my head to make a little something to go with their playmat... drum roll please.... I made houses and shops! Well, Ben cut them and I sanded and painted them. I was thinking it would take an hour, maybe two. I was dead wrong. Granted it could have been easy, but I wasn't satisfied, I had to make them (very) detailed. But, I like how they turned out so I guess it was all worth it...

Jack's farm, a fire station and another house-oddly enough, I am now realizing, without a window... but a cute mailbox with a flag up!

police station and a grocery store, I was too lazy to write out the whole word... plus Abby can read food, not sure about grocery;)
I think I like this one the best. I cant decide if it is an apartment building or an office building... They played with it all night long, so I guess it was worth the entire day it took to make them, haha. Luckily Ben is out of town, so the house work can wait until tomorrow!
