Store clerk: "When are you due?"
Me: "July" (didn't bother to say mid July because I didn't want anymore comments...)
Store clerk: "Oh..."
(continues to check me out)
"So are there two in there?"
Me: ( A little annoyed, I mean come on, are you calling me fat? ((ps, I know I am huge, I just don't like random strangers reminding me of that))) "Yes"
Store clerk: "Oh good! I had a girl in here earlier smaller than you"
Me: (So?? Maybe she was due later, maybe it was her first, maybe I like to pig out) "That's nice."
Store clerk: "Good thing you are due in July and not later, it will be so hot"
Me: (No kidding lady, and WTH? there are TWO of them in there!! I am already hot and miserable ALL.THE.TIME. Besides, June and July are still flippin hot) "Yeah, good thing."
End rant. Thanks for listening;)
Oh, but then I went to the quilt shop and they were much nicer about it. They asked when I was due and what I was having so I told them the details. Then they tell me how much they would love to have twins, always sounded like such fun... I will let ya know in a few months...
