3 months + a teeny bit of sewing.

Seriously? Has it really been three months? My sweet baby girls hit three months a few days ago! Life has been a bit of a blur these past few months, and things like the house and my sewing have been neglected. (Though in the few moments I do have not taking care of kids the house comes first... so sad day for my sewing obsession)

We will start with Izzy.
*She still weighs quite a bit less than Georgia. I stepped on the scale, then held George on there, then held Izzy on there and Iz was two pounds less.
*She is still on Prevacid, and that is helping A LOT.
*She is getting a bit better with sitting alone when she is awake.
*She is in newborn clothes still, though sometimes I put her in 0-3.
*She is in size one diapers.
*She typically goes to bed around midnight and sleeps until six a.m. ... I am not complaining! Much better than three-four hour blocks!
*She has started smiling, and makes a coo-ing noise every now and then.

*Georgia is my chunky monkey.

*She still kinda fits in newborn, but I typically put her in 0-3 since I have more of those... and I hate doing laundry every day.

*She is in size one diapers, but probably will be out of them soon.

*She puts herself to sleep... which is ah-mazing! (And something her sister wont do).

*She can sit for 1-2 hours by herself just looking around.

*She smiles and makes noise all day.

*She usually eats last around ten, bed by midnight or one, and I wake her to eat after I put Izzy back down, so she may go longer if I let her, but I am not going to risk having to get up again if she doesn't! So, until both sleep through the night, I will keep waking the other up.

*She is just my all-around happy baby, she will wake up and be fine without eating right away, which is great since Izzy will scream bloody murder until she is fed... and with them being on the same schedule, sometimes they want to eat at the exact same time, though I try to stagger it by about 15 minutes so that doesn't happen.

I made the kimono on Izzy for my niece Avree, and now she is big so Kim gave it to me. And the kimono on Georgia I made before they were born. I meant to make pants for them... but that never happened. Looking at the picture made me remember I made matching booties too, so I will have to pull those out.

It was Avree's birthday earlier this month and I made her this dress. It was the first time I made this pattern, and I got a bit lost for a minute, but it all turned out in the end. Definitely going to have to make more of these.

It has a tie in the back. I am thinking one time I will make the ties in a different print, or maybe make the bodice, ties and skirt in three different fabrics. So many possibilities!

Then I made her this skirt. I love it. Wish it was in my size. But I had only just enough fabric for this skirt.

This is the same pattern as the bird one I made for Abby a while back. I am thinking about putting piping on the hem, or some pom-poms for next time.

I wish I had more sewing time, but I have my priorities straight. Love on my family, do my best with keeping the house straight and maybe get my 30 minutes of sewing in a week. Hopefully when the girls sleep through the night I will get more time back in my day, but for now it is okay... But I MUST get started on the blessing dresses!!!! I know exactly what I want to do, but I need to make a pattern that will fit them. Sadly, none of my patterns are that small. So for now, that is all. Time to go feed babies:)

  1. At first glance at the picture of Georgia, I instantly see a lot of resemblances of Jack and Georgia! It's fun to hear the differences in the girl's personalities! The outfits you made are so dang cute!!!! The dress is my favorite!
