Blessed.

We blessed the girls on Sunday. Food. Family. Beautiful weather. Great day.

Poor Ben was sweating bullets, but he did a great job. He blessed Elizabeth and his dad blessed Georgia. Which is a good thing, because he wanted to start off the second blessing by just saying "ditto". Yeah, that may have been a little irreverent...

Mmmm... I didn't even think of it being fast Sunday, so sorry to all the guests who only got finger food, haha.

The cake balls. I have had so much fun figuring out how to make these. Mostly how to make them smooth, each batch I have improved! ... Luckily there have only been a few batches because they are so addictive to eat!

This is Great Grandpa Laidlaw, and the first time he has held either one of them:)

This is the group of men who stood in the circle, minus Logan.

I can't believe how much they have grown and changed. We went to the NICU reunion the day before and I was looking back through their photos from their time in the NICU. I am so blessed to have two healthy girls with no health problems from being born early. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for that.

Elizabeth was my little model. She was just so happy this day and I got so many good pictures of her...

... But Georgia not so much. I took these after the get-together, and woke her up to take them. Sorry girlfriend! I should have just let her sleep, but I wanted to get at least one of them together before I undressed Elizabeth. So, I will have to try with George another day.

Who doesn't love baby feet? My Grandma sent me these. I hadn't even thought of what they were going to wear underneath until the night before. Duh. I went to Walmart and Old Navy and neither had tights for babes as small as mine. (Old navy didn't even have tights!) I was frustrated and went through their drawers remembering I had bought 0-9 month tights before they were born. But they wouldn't fit mine if they are supposed to go up to 9 months, right? Wrong. I don't know how they will fit a 9 month old!

The best one of them together. I got Georgie in between a cry.

I thought this was sweet. Usually it is Iz who likes to touch Georgia, but Georgia kept holding on to Izzy's arm.

The dresses. Of course I made them:) I was thinking of making them different, but then I saw my inspiration on Pinterest and loved it so much I knew I had to make them the same.

I was going to draft my own pattern, but finally after days of looking found a 3-6 month pattern. Exactly one. So I decided I liked it enough and made a few in cotton to test the sizing, and to size it down. I was able to size it down to 0-3 month and it worked perfect.

I am beyond happy with how they turned out!!

Since I had my backdrop out I made Abby and Jack take a few too. Made Jack, Abby loved it. Not gonna lie, I bribed a smile out of him with a cake ball. And the next day got him to clean his room for a cake ball. And the next day. And the next day. I need more cake balls, the room is a mess again and he always whines and says "I'm too tired".
