Halfway there!!!

I am at least halfway through this pregnancy! I hit 19 weeks today, and since he will induce at 38 weeks that means I am halfsies, if not more! ... hopefully just half, let them cook as long as possible!! My belly was this big with the other two around six months... so yeah, I am gonna be huge! Kinda nervous about the shirt situation, though I probably wont leave the house towards the end and just wear a tent size shirt... or a mumu;)

I have hit the point where it is impossible to get a good night sleep... The last week or so I just toss and turn, the second I find a comfy position I have to go pee, or I wake up every hour with an aching belly. Slept on the recliner last night and that helped, but I would rather be in my nice warm bed.

I must officially look pregnant now... Strangers have begun asking me, though I tend not to say twins or when I am due because people have really dumb reactions to that for the most part. Like "oh you will have your hands full" or "My aunt's best friends sister's brother-in-law had twins" or "July will be so hot!" or my favorite I have gotten so far... (this was around 16 weeks before I really had a bump... and I had on a bulky jacket) "I knew it was twins! You are big already!" ... That one came from a realative, luckily we were in a church or I probably would have knocked him out... or had a few choice words for him. Ben was mad at me on Sunday because 2 different ladies in the ward were hinting at me being pregnant but I didn't say anything about it. One eventually just asked me, the other didn't. He said they were probably just trying to not hurt my feelings in case I wasn't, but oh well. I like to see people squirm... and I didn't feel like getting into it that day.

Twin pregnancy is so different than a singleton, at least for me. The first tri was horrible and the second isn't much better, I still am getting nausea every other day or so and I am exhausted all the time... (could be my lack of sleep at night, although I have been the whole pregnancy) They say every symptom is multiplied with twins and I believe it! With my previous two pregnancies I was never sick and only tired in the third tri.

Well, that is my pregnancy update!! Until the two stinkers cooperate and show us the goods... haha

  2. I agree with you, watching people squirm is fun! Sometimes it the only 'good' part of the day.
